Taxi Cab Is Getaway Car For Masked Vegas Casino Robber
Casino security has once again failed. For the second time in 2 months, there has been a robbery. A male with a disguise walked into a Las Vegas casino. The person just walked in and walked out. The riches of the Rio casino in LV are well known. On Thurs night, a man wearing a fedora, sunglasses and fake mustache simply walked into the casino and grabbed chips off a table. The dealer watching the table tried to stop the thief, but the man showed a gun. The masked robber then walked out the front door, got into a taxi and escaped the scene.
Seeing simple strategies working out
Much like the Bellagio robbery last month, this robbery appears to have involved very little preparing. The man walked into the casino, took the chips with a weapon and walked out in a disguise. The cab driver may have been paid in casino chips although that is currently unknown. In the Bellagio robbery, it took less than a month to discover the perpetrator.

I think its more a case that with his history WWE management (ultimately Vince) is making sure he's clean and functional.... it'd be a PR nightmare if he relapsed and had a major legal or Medical issue during Linda's campaign
as long as he's masked, WWE can claim he's only playing the part 'sometimes' and that they were giving an opportunity to a past associate who had a history of chemical abuse
If he's revealed as Mercury/Birch and some thing happens....then WWE is on the hook for putting a recovering addict in a major angle
