Frequently Asked Questions...
When your a cheerleader, Do they move you up as you get into a higher grade level?
I'm a sophomore, and I want to be a cheerleader when I move to my new school, Next Semester, but I would have to be in Junior Varsity, and I would like to continue cheerleading when I'm a junior, but I don't want to be a junior in JV.
So do they move you up to Varsity when you get into a higher grade level, or would I have to quit JV and tryout all over again for Varsity?
Answer:
depending on the requirements for varsity, most likely they will be a little more laid back as you become an upper class man. (ex. if the requirement for V is a tuck, if ur an upper class man and have a back handspring they will probably move you up). you will probably have to tryout for V next year because they need to see all their options, but being an upper class man u have an advantage. Just try very hard to improve in other areas to make up for other areas you may struggle with and make yourself standout from the others on JV so they see your improvements....
and when you try out, things that make you stand out are:
~BIG SMILES/FACIAL EXPRESSION
~SHARPNESS
~TIGHTNESS
~YOUR VOICE
~SPIRIT
GOOD LUCK AND MAKE THE MOST OF EVERYTHING YOU DO AND MAKE EVERY PRACTICE COUNT!!!! =D
